A Short Review On How Facebook Monitors All Your Activities.

Well, if you always follow the "Privacy and Policy" or "Access permission" of every app on your Mobile device, then it's no news that Facebook have access to information of the Operating System(OS) and , ISP or Network Carrier, IP address and Browser settings of your smartphones , just like any other top applications.

But would you be shocked when you find out that Facebook sees almost every single thing you do on your device every time you do them?


Okay let me tell you what's up:

Facebook recently disclosed the way it collects and controls user data  when the company submitted two sets of answers to the US Congress in order to answer US senators questions . The company submitted a 225-page document and a 229-page document to the US Congress which all covered different issues like data and info privacy, Cambridge Analytical Scandal, Shadow Profiles and advertisement targeting.  If you don't mind reading , You can read Facebook's answers to the Congress.



Now I would highlight the ways in which Facebook monitors all your activities.


- Facebook automatically logs IP addresses of networks where a user had logged into their Facebook account.

- Facebook monitors behaviors and operations on every devices . They monitor mouse movements and track whether a window is foregrounded or backgrounded in order to separate humans from bots.

- Facebook tracks information about your browser cookies, IP address, Service provider, internet connection speed as well as the time zone of a particular region.

- Facebook tracks device signals like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi access points.

- The company tracks your activities with third party sites that have their plugins(Facebook like, share) and monitors your data and purchases from third party sites . For example, shopping sites, etc.

- The company also monitors your device properties like : Device signal strength, Battery level, plugins, device storage space and types of files on device.
