Apple Recognizes Keyboard Problems With Recent MacBooks

It's no longer news that Apple added silicone membranes to its third-generation MacBook keyboards in order to prevent debris from getting in, but how effective does that actually work, really? Well, I would say not necessarily as much as Apple would like.

Hi guys how are you doing?

I just want to briefly share the latest from Apple. It's no longer news that Apple added silicone membranes to its third-generation MacBook keyboards in order to prevent debris from getting in, but how effective does that actually work, really? Well, I would say not necessarily as much as Apple would like. An apple spokesman said In response to a Wall Street Journalpiece highlighting ongoing reports of problems, that the company(Apple Inc) was aware of a "small number of users" whose butterfly keyboards were having some bugs, and that it was "sorry" for the issues. Although it didn't say this was a systemic flaw, however -- it claimed that the "vast majority" of MacBook Air and Pro users were just okay, and that users/customers should contact support if any problem arises.

Some other Tech companies believe the butterfly keyboard system is naturally fragile, and that even the slightest amount of debris can jam the mechanism. There's also possibility that weak springs render them prone to breaking down. To be honest, it's a pain to wait for a repair for a seemingly critical issue like this even though any system with a third-gen keyboard is covered under the free warranty-- And especially if you are all about MacBook.

As things stands now, it's still unclear just how many people are affected with this problem. the problem is largely widespread enough that some folks are calling for Apple to ditch butterfly keyboards totally. They believe that the company compromised reliability in the name of a thinner design, and they believe the situation would remain the same until Apple reconsiders its plans.

What are your thoughts guys?
