Hi folks!
Intel is here with a new update about a leaked data. I'm guessing you are pumped to know what's new, considering the company is still struggling to make 10-nanometer chips.
According to claims from WCCFTech, Intel will likely launch its 9th-generation Core desktop processors on October 1st, beginning with unlocked models that could make Intel's eight-core performance more accessible.
According to Engadget, Things to look out for would be the Core i9-9900K, the first mainstream desktop Core i9 chip -- you wouldn't have to pay a couple of dollars for an Extreme Edition CPU or X-Series. It would offer a 3.6GHz base clock speed, but may boost to 4.7GHz with all eight cores and would support up to 16 code threads.
Meanwhile, The Core i7-9700K,would be the first mainsteam 8-core i7 part. And it would as well begin at 3.6GHz, but only that its boost speed would top out at 4.6GHz for all cores (4.9GHz with a core) and would support only eight threads. Also attached to it, would be a mid-tier Core i5-9600K processor with six cores, six threads, a 3.7GHz base clock and a 4.3GHz boost with all cores (4.6GHz with a core).
No doubt this could be a welcome update.
What do you think?
