Hey guys how's it going? I have come across several articles on the web saying that you do not need to be passionate about a particular subject before considering blogging.  Well, I totally disagree! I can categorically tell you that if you are blogging about something you are not passionate about, you will eventually get bored about it probably after your first 100 posts.  Yea your opinion may differ but this is what I believe. I've seen friends that started out blogging about something they have little or no knowledge about and they ended up quitting because they found it boring along the line. If you want to start blogging, there is need for you to consider choosing a topic that you love so much, something you can never get bored with when you are writing or teaching people. When you are blogging, you are literally passing out useful informations to your readers. you want to help them solve their problems. So how can you do that when you are blogging about ...

Hi folks, how's it going? Have you ever found it difficult to change your Blog's Adsense account? Well, this can sometimes be a daunting task for newbies and I must say can be very annoying because I've been there.  People have different reasons for changing their Adsense Account and as far as I'm concerned, the most common reason is due to change of website URL.  I have once tried changing my Adsense email address and apparently failed in my first attempt because Adsense didn't let me change my URL for some reason. At the time, I thought that it was also possible to use two Adsense accounts for a blog but I was disappointed and told by Google that it wasn't possible. You can only use one Adsense account for multiple blogs and not the other way(multiple Adsense Accounts for one blog). So this is how it all happened: It all started when I decided to change the URL of my 2month old blog on blogger. After making the changes to my blog URL, I got a mes...

It currently appears Facebook have another problem with Privacy and this time, it's about its Closed groups. This news came up when a closed Facebook group moderator, Andrea Downing, found out that a chrome extension called 'Grouply.io' allowed her download employers, names, locations, email addresses and other personal info on the group that has 9,000 members . Huh? How's that possible??? I'm as surprised as you are. According to CBNC , The 9,000 group is actually for women who's genes are associated with a higher risk of developing breast cancer and who have medication information or issues they don't want to be shared outside the group . The group moderator, Andrea Downing, decided to consult a security researcher, Fred, about her findings and he discovered that  closed Facebook groups had a privacy leakage that gave Grouply.io the opportunity to gain access to their information . The researcher accessed not just information for downing'...

As a blogger who is striving to succeed and to make reasonable income from blogging, it is very important for you to learn and understand the right way to grow your blog rather than learning the hard way. In this post, I will explain what you should watch out for as your blog traffic grows Let's get started! 1. Add Some "Strong Words" On Your Contact Form. Now you have reached a significant number of monthly visitors on your site, you should understand that people would want to take advantage of your huge traffic by placing links on your site , requesting for you to post about their products for free and try to get you to join their affiliate programs.  If you don't carefully watch out, it will get overwhelming.  You can reduce fake requests on your blog by placing some wordings above your contact form. See example: "Do you have a question / comment / idea / advertising inquiry for me? I would love to read from you! I always try to respond to ever...

The internet cost/speed in Nigeria is still a problem for users but it certainly didn't stop users from constantly browsing the Internet. The number of internet users in Nigeria increased further in May, 2018 with the number reaching 103 million according to the NCC. This figure is evidently different from the result in 2012 when Nigeria recorded 28million internet users in the country. Yes I'm among those folks who believe the internet cost/speed in Nigeria is way too expensive and has had a lot if people stuck without internet connection because they cannot consistently afford it. It has been revealed by QZ that the monthly broadband packages in Nigeria cost more than the minimum wage. If you would like to see a comprehensive list of African countries that have the most expensive internet, Click here . While it's good to see this impressive result(increase in internet usage) in Nigeria, I feel the major attention now should be on the NCC.  They need to eff...

The Federal Agencies are currently looking into any mismatch in the recent stories told by folks who were involved, plus Facebook's CEO's testimony to the Congress. The investigation is still ongoing and we can only wait for more info or developments to know if the agencies are going to decide to place a penalty on Facebook or file charges. According to the The Washington Post , these Federal Investigators are working together to find out Facebook's involvement with Alexander Kogan's activities three years ago. But not to worry, Apple launched a new Keyboard Service Program today, June 22. The service program is available for only users who's keyboard letters or characters suddenly repeat itself or refuse to appear at all or users who's keys feel "sticky" and don't respond in the right manner. Hi guys, I'm back again with a new post to talk about how you can overcome your worries when considering starting a blog.  I understand the feeling when you start a blog and the thought of "what's next?" pops up in your head. I would talk about the following points in this post and I hope you would grab one or two things from it. - What to write about. - How much time do I need to put in it. - I have no knowledge of computer programming . - I am anxious about investing in something I'm not sure I'll be good enough to do as a full-time job. If you are a new blogger, I'm sure one of the above points I listed must have hit your mind before.  Well, I would explain how you can over come these anxieties one after the other. Just take a deep breath and read on. 1. WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT-  Well, I have once faced this problem before and even though it wasn't easy for me at first, I solved it eventually.  This is what I did:...

Image Source: pxhere Hey folks! Are you thinking of growing your blog and wondering how much you need to reinvest in it? Well, Tell me if I'm wrong but I believe Blogging is like any other business where you have to spend money to make money.  You might have started your blog without spending a dime but I guarantee you that as your blog grows, there would be a need for you to reinvest in it to keep it going. If you intend blogging full time, then you should consider these two questions; - If I keep reinvesting into my blog, when do I make profit? - How do I even know I'm doing it the right way? My suggestion is this- As a newbie in blogging, it's advisable you invest 100 percent of your profits until you start hitting $1,000/month. I'm not saying you should do it but it pays if you do it. I  know a female blogger who reinvested 100 percent of her profits back into her blog until she was consistently hitting $1,000 monthly. Don't get me wrong, y...

Image source: pixabay Have you ever published a post and only to find out that the title of your content was missing on the homepage of the blog?   Well, this happened to me recently and I was so worried because I spent more than 30mins trying to figure out a solution. When your post tittle are missing on your blog homepage, it would make it difficult for people to understand the contents you have on your blog homepage when they visit and you might end up losing tons of traffic in the process.  What actually happened in my case was that the title of my last post suddenly got missing after publishing.  I searched all over the internet for solutions but I wasn't satisfied with the answers I got. Most of the answers I got required me to edit and embed some codes and that is something I can't afford to risk. Note-  This sudden changes happened to my blog as a result of me switching from the default blogger template to 'Custom Template'.  I got to realiz...

Have you ever tried to get on your favorite app on your iPhone and notice that the screen uncontrollably scrolls by itself?Although this doesn't happen all the time but it can be very annoying.  When your phone screen is oversensitive, it weirdly acts up, moves around and selects screen icons by itself. Then sometimes, you notice your phone screen starts zooming in and in out on its own with just touching the screen once.  All these makes it difficult for you to scroll around your home screen, browse the internet, read emails and it sometimes makes it difficult for you to make phone calls.  I have come across these issue before and trust me, it can be very annoying.   I found this issue when I noticed that the screen on my iPhone5S was over sensitive as I tried to open the Facebook App.  I was trying to get on the Facebook App to chat with my buddies when I I got the issue.  This is what happened:  Whenever I touch the screen, it spont...
